Overview
Yuefeng Mica caters to the diverse needs of various industrial sectors, including metallurgy, chemical engineering, machinery, and energy, through customized products (sheets, strips, paper, and special-shaped parts). It solves the problems of insulation, heat insulation, and corrosion protection in extreme environments, while also improving equipment operational efficiency and safety, making it an indispensable functional material in industrial applications.
Yuefeng mica plates are used as insulation in arc and medium-frequency furnaces for steel and non-ferrous metal smelting. They can endure continuous temperatures of 800-1200℃, minimizing heat loss (thermal conductivity as low as 0.12W/(m・K)) and enhancing energy efficiency. Additionally, they separate the metal shell from heating elements, ensuring safety during operation.

Reactor and pipeline insulation When chemical reactors operate under high temperature and pressure (such as 200℃, 10MPa), Yuefeng mica sheets are used for insulation isolation between the stirring motor and the reactor body to prevent motor leakage from causing flammable and explosive media to explode; at the same time, mica winding tapes wrap the outer walls of pipes conveying corrosive media (such as acid and alkali solutions), combining insulation and corrosion protection functions, suitable for the humid and foggy environment of chemical workshops.
Explosion-proof electrical equipment accessories

Industrial motors, like those used in rolling mills and high-pressure pumps, face intense vibration and temperature increases during operation. Yuefeng mica tape is used to wrap motor windings, creating a vibration-resistant insulation layer that prevents short circuits from winding wear. Additionally, mica insulation pads are placed between the motor end cover and the base to block heat transfer to the bearings, thereby prolonging the life of the lubricating grease.
Thermal isolation of precision instruments In the temperature control system of CNC machine tools and automated production lines, Yuefeng mica sheets, as the isolation layer between the sensor and the heating component, prevent high temperatures from interfering with sensor accuracy (error can be controlled within ±0.5℃), and provide electrical insulation, ensuring the accuracy of instrument data.
IV. Energy Industry: Safety support for power generation equipment and power transmission systems
Thermal power plant boilers and steam turbines High-temperature monitoring cables for boiler pipes must withstand radiation heat above 600℃. Yuefeng mica braided sleeves wrap the cables, forming a heat insulation barrier; the excitation windings of the steam turbine use mica paper insulation to resist moisture and high-voltage (above 10kV) breakdown risks in steam environments.
